Tomorrow, we celebrate my dad’s life. He was one of my biggest champions as I wrote this book, reading drafts and cheering me on through every stage. Unfortunately, he was never able to see the finished product. I recently found an email he sent me after my retirement: “You made a difference, and I am so proud of you.”
I’m holding those words close today, and I wanted to share them here, where his encouragement helped bring this story into the world.
