Bringing Matildaville to Life at the Literary Festival

I’m excited to share that I’ll be part of the Lansdowne Woods Literary Festival on June 27.

Writing historical fiction rooted in the DMV means the stories I tell belong to this community — and events like this bring those stories full circle. I’ll be talking about the research behind Chasing Freedom, the lost town of Matildaville, and the early canal era that shaped our region.
